After Robert graduated with his Law degree from Keele University in 1978 and qualifying as a Solicitor, he was made a partner with a large Law firm on the South Coast of England. He then moved to West Yorkshire and formed his own practice, which he led for the next 30 years.

Having always been passionate about protecting family assets such as the family home and savings, he has recently founded Robert Howard Wills & Powers based in Normanton, Wakefield. This firm specialises in Protective Property Will Trusts, so that the family home and assets are protected from a number of unforeseen events including care fees.
